It seems like there is a scrambled eggs recipe in every American cookbook. This cookbook has a recipe called "The Heartland Scramble" on pg. 61. I wonder how it tastes compared to the California Scramble that I often order from my neighborhood restaurants. My American husband told me he had never been to the heartland of America and he appears to have no interest in visiting. But I think living in a modern farmhouse in the middle of America can be nice. He says there are tornadoes in the heartland and I may be playing farm girl one day and then be blown back to China the next day. So, I married an American partypooper.
